BIO

I am a consultant neuroradiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and honorary clinical research fellow under the Division of Surgery and Cancer. My main research interests are neuro-oncology and vascular imaging and I am co-lead of the translational brain tumour research group at Imperial College. Within neuro-oncology, I am particularly interested in the application of advanced, multiparametric intraoperative ultrasound in guiding brain tumour resection. I am undertaking a PhD in intraoperative ultrasound imaging for glioma surgery at Imperial College University London. I am also the radiologist lead for FUTURE GB Trial (Functional and Ultrasound-guided Resection of Glioblastoma), an NIHR EME funded multicentre, randomised controlled, intraoperative trial evaluating whether ultrasound and diffusion tensor imaging improves maximal safe surgical resection and quality of life for glioblastoma patients. Clinically, I regularly take various MDTs and report a wide range of neuroimaging including advanced imaging such as perfusion and tractography. I am also trust co-lead for digital technology in imaging. In addition to my clinical and research commitments, I run a neurosurgical imaging workshop and I am a lecturer for several MSc and national courses.
